it didn't go the way i expected, but it went the way I needed it to go

i haven't had this much fun spinning in a long time.

this was deeply satisfying 

i can't see the stitches either.

the little bit of sewing I did tonight has me so contented.

i'm always amazed and gratified at how calming it is to have a needle in my hand

this is a blown glass linen smoother. i got it today.
