day sixty-three: more fitting

I don’t know why I really get going on this project at like 11:30, but I do. This time it was to take in the back panel.

I thought I might just take a dart in the center back, but then I decided to just move the seams a little. Basically I opened the seams and moved the edge of the leg side further in. I don’t know if that makes sense, but it works.

that horizontal line is more or less where the waistband will go

The line of the new seam got a bit wobbly on the left, but it’s wobbly above the waistline, so it really doesn’t matter.

most of that stitching will go, for that matter

So yeah, I have most of the fit where I want it to be; enough for the challenge. When the challenge is over, I’ll take the waistband apart, tweak the fit again through the leg, and make these things really fit properly.

Time for bed, though. Night, y’all.
