day twenty-five: shakespeare and sewing

Today I’m watching Shakespeare’s Henry V presented as… well, a Zoom meeting. It. Is. BRILLIANT. And I am sewing in my sleeves.

This is a weird seam. I know it will look amazing, but there is a class here on the strange seams of the Viborg shirt.

told you it was weird

post-play… That was amazing. Kudos and vivats to everyone involved. It was SO MUCH FUN. Plus I got the edges on one whole side turned so I could start sewing in my sleeve.

It’s going kinda slow, but I’m making tiny stitches so I’m not mad about it. It’s really starting to look like a shirt.

The sleeve is in.

I sound really blasé about that, but honestly I’m really excited. Last thing to do is close up the side, and that’s pretty simple.

i’ve used this stitch before, and it makes a really nice seam

you can flatline and join your seam all at once; it’s very cool

Okay… it’s 12:15, and the side seam is closed, and I’m tired and want to go to bed except I will probably go to bed and play with my iPad. I’ll post pictures tomorrow after I’ve pressed the shirt to see what’s going on.

Night, y’all.
