day nine: live-blogging

I kinda wish I thought of live-blogging my work earlier, but here we are.

this took an hour

On to basting…

all basted and ready to sew

It’s 10:10pm. Let’s see how long this takes.

luckily, this is a self-correcting problem

In other news, I yelled at this project for the first time at 10:18pm.

first leg finished at 10:38pm

I spent a few minutes arguing with the mobile site editor, too.

yeah.

11:24pm — the front “fixation seams” are done!!

I’m going to thread mark the neckline and then give it a good pressing.

12:15am — the front of the shirt is DONE (save the neckline)

It felt so good to take an iron to it and make it pretty.

for my last trick of the evening, I laid out the stitching for the back.

This will be tomorrow’s effort, and then I’ll need to sort out the neckline and sleeves.

I liked blogging today’s work like this; it was a lot easier to track my progress. We might see this again.
For now, though, meds and bed. Night y’all.
