Day eighty-one: i didn't expect that

Goes to show how quickly things can go when you know what you're doing: all the gores are set, the shoulder edges are turned and felled down, and the shoulder edge of one of the sleeves is turned and pressed.

Once the sleeves are in, I need to close the sides, finish the seams on the gores, and do the hems. Looks like I need to spend some time making Manx thread; I'm not going to have enough to finish the tunic. So maybe — maybe — not done by Christmas, but certainly putting on finishing touches.

I'm really pleased with it. I'm planning to make a couple more out of less historically- oriented wool to wear around the house in the winter. I'm finding wool tunics to be absolutely key for warmth. They're just so cozy and breathable and comfy.

Anyway. Happy with today's progress. Past time for bed. Night, y'all.
