day sixty-seven: how did i lose that

I started sewing the cuffs of my pants today, and I ran out of thread. I made more, and I'm waiting for the twist to set.

i'm pretty sure this is on the order of 50-60 wraps per inch

In the meantime, I had another little skein I was going to use to continue sewing. I wound it into a butterfly, and went to find something to wind it on… and now I can't find it. I have no idea what happened to it. It's so frustrating. I'm sure I'll find it as soon as I start using the new skein.

In the meantime, I guess I'll use the new skein, and the other one will go into a dye bath once I find it. I admit to being pretty proud that I made almost 18 yards of sewing thread in maybe an hour.

So I think I'm going to take a few minutes, finish sewing the cuff I started so many hours ago, and head to bed. Night, y'all.
