interlude: mistakes may have been made

So no shit, there I was, having a lovely lunchtime chat with Axel, explaining to him what happened with my shirt last night and how I discovered that I marked the neckline on the wrong side, when I made a horrible realization…

The boxes in the middle of the front and back are positioned so that there is room for the neck slit. I marked the neckline on the wrong side. I might not have room for the slit on the correct side.

I might have to re-do the pintucks.

Realistically, it only puts me a little behind, but I really don’t want to pull those stitches, try to iron out those creases, and do the whole thing over again, and then I still have the bloody neckline haunting me!

Nothing is ever perfect. I’ll just leave it if there’s room for the slits. But I really don’t think there is.

I’m a little afraid to look…
